Commercial district in Brombach
On September 1, 1946, the company was founded by Ludwig Boschert. The master machinist set up a metal workshop in Brombach, a district of Lörrach, in the "Gäbi" below the Reiss Mill, in an old cattle barn.
Orders in the early years
FAS was a major customer.
In its early years, Boschert received many orders from the then-local textile industry.
Boschert manufactures the hinge bearing in exchange for a licensing fee.
Udo Kunz worked at Boschert for two years.
As described in the book *“Steigflug und Gleitflug”* by Udo Kunz, the company FAS had no interest in this patent by Hermann Fazis, so Boschert produced these hinge bearings in exchange for a licensing fee.
Between 1958 and 1960
New construction and relocation to Hauingen
Relocation of the company from Ringstraße in Brombach to Hauingen, to the then Neumatt area.
Flanging machine from 1962 to around 1983.
Another in-house product alongside the safety chucks.
In October 1962, Ludwig Boschert took over the production of the flanging machine from the company Dreistern.
Mid-1970s
Acquisition of the notching machine patent

The 1980s
Dr. Rudolf Eberle Award for our MiniS notching machine and introduction of the “VT” wear parts for coil rod bearings.

Udo Kunz quickly realized that exports would be very important both for the bearings and for the sheet metal processing machines. Therefore, trade fairs in Europe and the USA were regularly attended. |

Business transfer to his son, Peter Kunz.

His son, Peter Kunz, continuously developed the company and its machine offerings (e.g., the first CNC punching machines and additional patents for our safety chucks).

In 2004, Boschert formed a strategic alliance with the Greek company Gizelis S.A.

First Multipunch punching machine in 2008 and first CuProfi copper machine in 2009.
