On September 1, 1946, the company was founded by Ludwig Boschert. The master machinist set up a metal workshop in Brombach, a district of Lörrach, in the "Gäbi" below the Reiss Mill, in an old cattle barn.
Orders in the early years
FAS was a major customer.
In its early years, Boschert received many orders from the then-local textile industry.
Boschert manufactures the hinge bearing in exchange for a licensing fee.
Udo Kunz worked at Boschert for two years.
As described in the book *“Steigflug und Gleitflug”* by Udo Kunz, the company FAS had no interest in this patent by Hermann Fazis, so Boschert produced these hinge bearings in exchange for a licensing fee.

In October 1962, Ludwig Boschert took over the production of the flanging machine from the company Dreistern.

Dr. Rudolf Eberle Award for our MiniS notching machine and introduction of the “VT” wear parts for coil rod bearings.

Udo Kunz quickly realized that exports would be very important both for the bearings and for the sheet metal processing machines. Therefore, trade fairs in Europe and the USA were regularly attended. |

In 2004, Boschert formed a strategic alliance with the Greek company Gizelis S.A.

First Multipunch punching machine in 2008 and first CuProfi copper machine in 2009.
